ASIC and AASB sustainability reporting workshops for smaller companies

ASIC and the Australian Accounting Standards Board (AASB) are hosting a series of free, in-person workshops in May 2026 to help businesses prepare for new mandatory sustainability reporting requirements. These sessions, delivered by the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), aim to provide a practical foundation for companies starting their reporting journey, covering climate science, physical and transition risks, and climate-related opportunities. The workshops complement ASIC’s existing e-learning modules and provide a networking platform for peers to share insights on transitioning to the new standards.

The workshops are designed for directors, employees, shareholders, and creditors who need to understand foundational sustainability reporting concepts. Those able to attend sessions in Melbourne (12 May), Brisbane (13 May), Sydney (19 May), or Perth (26 May). Read more here.
