AFCA ceasing membership certificates from FY26
Effective for the 2025-26 financial year, AFCA will no longer issue membership certificates to financial firms.
Instead, firms can verify their AFCA membership using the real-time financial firm search tool on the AFCA website. This change aims to combat fraud, reduce administrative burden, and increase consumer confidence.
While certificates are being phased out, members are still permitted to use AFCA’s name, logo, and contact details according tot heir guidelines. Read more here.
